FlowCheck Privacy Policy

FlowCheck ("the app", "we", "us") is a habit-tracking app designed to support people managing ADHD and related conditions. This policy explains what information the app collects, why, and your rights over it. We have tried to keep it plain and honest.

The short version

• We collect only what the app needs to work: your account details and the habits you choose to track.
• We do not sell your data, show ads, or use third-party advertising or analytics trackers.
• You can delete your account and all associated data at any time.

Information we collect

Account information. When you sign up, we collect your email address, a password (stored securely in hashed form by our authentication provider — we never see or store your plain password), and an optional display name.

Profile preferences. During onboarding you may tell us which condition you are managing (for example, ADHD), your preferred reminder tone, and your time zone. The condition you select is used only to personalise habit suggestions and reminder wording within the app.

Habit data. The habits you create (names, types, schedules, reminder times), your completion logs (including the date and time you mark a habit done), and any optional notes or mood ratings you add. This is the core data the app exists to store for you.

How we use your information

• To provide the core features of the app: tracking habits, calculating streaks, and sending you the reminders you set up.
• To personalise habit templates and reminder copy based on the preferences you choose.
• To authenticate you and keep you securely signed in.

We do not use your information for advertising, profiling unrelated to the app's features, or sale to third parties.

Reminders and notifications

Habit reminders are scheduled locally on your device. You can disable notifications at any time through your device settings; the app degrades gracefully without them.

Where your data is stored

Your account and habit data are stored using Supabase, our backend and database provider, which processes data on our behalf. Access to your data is restricted by row-level security so that you can only read and write your own records.

Data sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share data only with the infrastructure provider named above strictly to operate the app, and only where required by law.

Your rights and choices

• Access & correction. You can view and edit your profile and habit data directly in the app.
• Deletion. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us at the email below. When your account is deleted, your habits, logs, streaks, and profile are permanently removed.

Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your associated data is removed from our active systems.

Children's privacy

FlowCheck is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
